Sublimation Printing
Sublimation Printing
Sublimation printing is a process where heat is used to transfer dye onto materials, typically polyester fabric or specially coated surfaces like mugs, phone cases, etc. The dye turns into gas under high heat and pressure, allowing it to bond with the fibers of the material, creating vibrant, durable, and full-color designs that are part of the fabric itself.
Sublimation printing at Memoire Gift ensures that your designs become part of the fabric or material, creating vibrant, long-lasting prints. Whether you need customized unique gifts, sublimation offers exceptional color quality and durability. With this service, your brand will remain visible without the need for frequent reprints, making it a cost-effective choice.
Benefits of the Sublimation Printing:
- Vibrant, full-color prints: Sublimation produces bright, eye-catching designs with exceptional color accuracy.
- Durability: The prints become part of the material itself, making them resistant to fading, peeling, or cracking over time.
- Soft, professional finish: The design is smooth and feels like part of the fabric, offering a high-quality finish without added texture.

Step-by-step Process of Heat Transfer Printing
- Design Submission: Customer provides the design.
- Artwork Preparation: Our design team prepares the artwork, adjusting for size and placement
- Artwork confirmation: Our sales team will send the final artwork to the customer for review and confirmation before proceeding to the next step.
- Printing the Design: The design is printed onto sublimation transfer paper using special inks that turn into gas when heated, bonding with the material.
- Heat Pressing: The transfer paper is placed on the substrate and pressed with heat and pressure, causing the sublimation ink to turn into gas and bond with the material or coating.
- Peeling & Curing: After cooling, the transfer paper is peeled off, leaving the design on the item.
- Sample: We will proceed with the first sample, sent as a photo, for the customer to check if the design follows the artwork.

- Inspection & Packaging: The finished items are inspected and packed.
